Wednesday 6 pm
Take a spin every Wednesday night @6pm for three weeks to learn the basics of throwing on the wheel! $115
This class includes one hour instruction each Wednesday night, one half bag of clay, the ability to purchase extra clay if desired, AND includes Clay Lab studio access until 8:30pm to continue working on what you have

In the first class you will learn to center clay and pull a wall on a cylinder. During the second class the lesson will focus on controlling wall thickness and various ways to alter a cylinder while throwing. The third lesson will focus on help with any problems you have encountered throwing and work on making a matched set of your chosen shape!
This three week class includes kiln firing for one piece and the option to purchase kiln firing for additional pieces if you want to return and paint them too! There is a 2-4 weeks drying time before the pots go through their first kiln firing. After that first firing you return to paint anytime during our regular open hours Monday-Friday 12-9 & Saturday 11-9. For Age 18+

Andrea would be excited to walk you through the process of creating a vessel on a pottery wheel!
She will explain and demonstrate the fundamentals of wheel throwing with the goal of you having a fun experience making something functional with your very own hands. ♡
